Today we discussed the dialect of the poem. We discussed whether or not the dialect made the poem more powerful.
We also compared the woman in the story to the woman in the painting on the page next to the poem.
We started working on our own extended metaphors.
Remember--tomorrow we will be PSAT testing in periods one through four!
